Miquel Gelabert, professional cyclist from TrialGP, appeared taking a ride around Honda’s offices in Japan on the new electric RTL bike.

Gelabert demonstrated the full power of the RTL electric bike during a visit to the executive office with Takahisa Fujinami, manager of the Repsol Honda Trial Team, along with teammates Toni Bou and Gabriel Marcelli.

The electric RTL is equipped with the battery from the CR ELECTRIC PROTO motocross bike, optimized for experimental use, along with clutch, flywheel, and transmission.

The bike features a double aluminum tube frame, and its motor is integrated with an inverter installed at the bottom of the frame to ensure the ideal center of gravity for the rider.

Additionally, the frame rigidity has been improved for greater riding stability, and its swingarm, recently developed based on the RTL series, also helps reduce weight.

While the 27-year-old Spaniard finished seventh in last year’s TrialGP Championship, the display of both rider and bike capabilities seems to reflect Honda’s expectations for this year’s TrialGP Championship.
